Recent developments

Haven't been in a writing mood as of late. It comes and goes and I end up usually giving up on whatever project I have been working on. I procrastinating right now and don't feel like playing WoW or anything else so here I am. So many things to talk about, not sure where to begin. I guess the biggest thing on my mind would be....hm. Ok, I'm just gonna pick something. SHOWCASE! It was this past Saturday and it was fantastic! Got up at 6 A.M. to get donuts with Amber, which I find funny because I have a very difficult time waking up in the morning for class, but I am more than willing to get up at any time for band. Maybe I should switch my major. Well, I probably am going to switch over to General Studies just to get a degree and get out of here. Anyways, back to Showcase. After my early morning set-up duties, I stuck around until lunch hanging out with, well, people that I have never been around, except for a brief time on the UK trip. I enjoyed being around different people, especially one person in particular. The performance was good, though I wish I had learned my music better. I slept for most of the following day.
As for other matters, things are about to get pretty tense around here. The condition of the apt. is steadily deteriorating due to the puppy and the lack of care and attention given to him. Money is also becoming an issue because I'm done with people owing me a lot of money. Time for me to be assertive. It's also time to start improving my daily routine. Gotta go to be earlier and wake up earlier. Stop wasting so much time doing nothing. Which reminds me I need to pick up some film and a battery for my camera and take it for a spin. Got a photography class in the Spring so it's best I learn how to use it. I'm thinking I might make something dealing with photography my career. Maybe work for National Geographic or something. That will have me traveling for sure. Stupid foreign languages keeping me back in my History degree. Which is mainly my fault because I was behind in class from the start. Oh well.

Picture is something I want to do with the bass line. Gonna have to save that until next year.
Currently listening to KRVS though that's about to change because they're not playing anything too good right now. I'm kinda feeling some...The Shins. Maybe some Shiny Toy Guns?

The Heat of October

So here I am, on a Wednesday afternoon thankful of the developers of modern air conditioning. It shouldn't be this hot in October, but then this is south Louisiana. It comes with the territory. Today would have been really nice for some cooler weather and possibly some cloud coverage since this was the first day I've marched with my new haircut, resulting in a very vulnerable neck, which was already sunburnt from walking to and from class. I also didn't bring my water. But thankfully I made it through the day. So far. I have yet to clean the apartment, which means taking Dr. Bruce out of the kitchen exposing the rest of the apt, mainly carpet, to his land mines and the sort. I've been quite neglectful of keeping this place up to my standards and it's starting to really bother me. May or may not hit up the Bulldog today for some burgers, though a beer would be really nice. Not in a particular mood to do a lot of writing today especially since I have a ton of Psychology reading to do. Therefore, I will end this post with a few tidbits of junk.

Music of the day: Started off with Led Zeppelin then moved to Garbage after I got home.
Mood: Slightly annoyed

Guten Abend!

Welp, as a first post, I suppose I'll do a tad of explaining. I felt a desire to do some writing about anything and everything and have a chance to share it with whoever wants to do some reading! So here it is, my blog. I think I would like for this to grow as a way for people to get to know me better by my mindless rambling. I don't think I'm going to set down a particular layout for this, but will just put stuff up as it comes to mind. I may get into a habit of putting certain things that change from time to time, such a mood, music I'm listening to, whatever. I haven't read the T&C yet, but until I get a better idea of what I can put here, expect random things, biased things, and possibly racist things. If you don't like what I put, DON'T READ IT. Simple as that. I am open to any discussion and opinions in here, and in here only. Whatever goes down in here stays in here.
